My art takes a passionate view of telling stories with both realistic and non-realistic elements, laid out to create aesthetic-valued compositions. And the significance of a story is always underpinned by the title. Painting concepts are generated, analyzed, synthesized, and evaluated before transforming into reality to befit a narrative.
In my work, every element counts. It forms part of a whole to accomplish the desired objective of the story. As a result, my art appeals generally to an investigative audience, and also those of the view that beauty always has a deeper meaning.
The effect of my work is achieved by the application of thick paint; acrylic and/or oil. Painting knives are effectively used to create an interplay of character and boldness by means of texture, to project the visual identity of a composition’s narrative.
